The Garden of Eatin'

Before putting Nathan to bed I always read him a scripture story.  Tonight was the story of Adam and Eve.  We read that they were in the garden of Eden. Nathan said, "Yeah. The garden of Eden." Then he stopped and said, "No.  They aren't Eatin'. They are not eating grass and leaves." Then he pointed to the picture with lots of trees and grass and informed me that they are people and so they eat food.   A few weeks ago we spent an entire family home evening trying to explain the difference between Thomas S. Monson and Thomas the Train and got nowhere, so this time I just agreed with him and didn't even bother talking about EDEN vs. EATING.

You should use that in a talk or write President Monson.
