Funny side note: Brig and I both like the names Violet and Ruby, but since we already have a Scarlett, they are about as likely a choice as Martian.

School, school, and more school. BS in physics, teaching certificate, Masters in physics instrumentation, and now currently a dental student at UNC. Not sure what to do once school is actually OVER (in 238 days, but who is counting?)

Wife, mother, pharmacist, afraid of facebook, signed up for goodreads and have never logged on, love the outdoors, reading, singing, LOST, 30 Rock, and I fall asleep during 50% of the movies Brig and I rent. The bonus? I get to watch the movie again and it's like watching it for the first time.
Nathan and Scarlett
They may look pretty sweet in this pic, but don't be too fooled. These two are often into all kinds of mischief. (Insert pic of my kitchen table with crayon all over it). Scarlett loves vegetables and anything pink. Nathan loves singing and playing the Nintendo Wii.
Mia
9 months old and all over the place. Current hobbies include trying to climb the stairs, standing up while holding onto the couch (our your legs), doing baby sign for "more", actions to "So Big!" and "The itsy-bitsy spider". Started to copy sounds and gives the best hugs and kisses. She'd love to be able to keep up with her brother and sister. Favorite food: milk. (probably chocolate due to my eating habits).

I think that both are very cute!
I like both of those names. I think I like Mia better with your last name, but I really like the name Claire, too.
Maybe you could just shorten Martian to Marsha. Hehe.
I love both of the names too. I think that either of them is a winner. Sorry- I know that helps a lot. Do you do middle names too? Maybe you could use both.
I like both names--we had Amelia with Mia as a nickname on our short list, but I think both are darling--I am liking the color idea, though--I think you should aim for a whole rainbow!
